These maps show places in Wales where people may be at higher risk of harm from gambling. This risk is based on the characteristics of people who live in the local area (shown in ‘the people at home’ map) and services and facilities which may attract at-risk people to a specific place (shown in ‘the people away from home’ map). Results are combined into a single risk index (the ‘composite risk index’ map). You can see what is driving the risk of harm in different areas by looking at the individual maps for each risk factor (e.g. the location of job centres, resident unemployment rates etc).
